Attaching files to your steps

Clear instruction texts are nice, but what are they without some visual support? That's why you can attach files to steps. To get started, go to a step and click on the + in the Attachments list

Select the files you want to attach. For now, we support images and videos but if you feel that's not enough, please reach out so we can discuss your needs. Once you selected the files and clicked Select in the bottom right, a new dialog pops up with a tab for each file.

Each file type allows for some customization through the options you see in the tab. For example, with a video you can determine the start and end position. You'll see a live preview of the options you chose so you know what the operator will see. Click Add to attach this file with the selected options to the step. All attachments will end up in the list with a preview if possible.

You can edit the attachment by click on a row, delete them by clicking on the bin or rearrange them by dragging the drag handle on the right.
