Duplicate a Bill of Process

Once you created a Bill of Process, you can duplicate it to different Product Configurations and different Sites. Go to the Bill of Process list by clicking here at one of your Product Configurations:

Make sure that there are no existing BOPs at the site. BOPs can only be duplicated into a site that is still empty because otherwise it would cut off the existing BOP lineage. When you get to an empty BOP list at a site, you'll see the button Duplicate BOP

Click it, select the BOP that you want to duplicate and you're done!

Important thing to keep in mind is that Tools are Site dependent so their requirement in Steps is only duplicated to the new BOP if the original BOP was in the same Site. So for example:

• if you have one Site with one Product Configuration and you start a new Product Configuration, you can duplicate the original BOP in the new Product Configuration and the steps in your new BOP still have the same tooling attached (since they share the same Site).
• if you have one Site with one Product Configuration, you add a Site, you can duplicate the original BOP in the new Site but the steps will not have their original tooling attached (since they don't share the same Site).
